In Short
No personal information is shared with any third parties (except what is required for payment processing). We do not store payment card information. By default we only send emails relating to orders and customer inquiries.
The Details
Collection of Data
If you choose to use our services we need to collect at least your name and email address. Additionally, if you place an order requiring shipping you must provide a valid shipping address. Finally, payment processing may require you to provide a billing address and payment card information. We have strived to design the website so you need to submit only the minimum of information required for the service you are using. By submitting your email address you accept that we may send you order-related emails.
Storage of Data
Except for payment card information, the data you submit is stored in a database on servers maintained by our current website hosting provider. For orders paid with a payment card the last 4 digits of the card number are saved with the order information for administrative purposes while all other card information is only submitted to the payment processor and not stored by us. We rely on the security measures provided partly by the shopping cart software (Zen Cart), partly by our hosting provider. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, and therefore it is impossible for us to guarantee the absolute security of your personal information. Except for passwords, the data is stored unencrypted and may be transmitted unencrypted.
Access to Data
Inevitably, our website hosting provider ultimately has access to all data stored on their servers, including our customer database. Otherwise the only person with access to the database is the website administrator and owner of Astralis Productions, Poul Jensen.
Sharing of Data
To process payments your billing address and payment card information (if applicable) must be shared with a payment processor for validation. Other than that we do not share any personal information with any third parties, now or in the future.
